Precision Rifle II
The Precision Rifle II course is our advanced training program designed for serious shooters. In this course, students will be challenged to their limits as they learn how to establish a stable firing position beyond just the prone stance, gather wind data, and apply their long-range shooting skills in real time. Our expert instructors will provide in-depth critiques of each student's performance, pushing them to achieve a higher level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Participants will also master shooting from multiple barricades and utilizing various natural terrain features.
Course Curriculum:
- Firearm Safety Training
- Fundamentals of Marksmanship Recap
- Rifle Zeroing
- Wind Formulas/Wind Numbers
- Refined Ballistic Truing
- Wind exercises / Reading Mirage and Vegetation Techniques
- Alternate Firing Positions / Positional Work (Tripods, Barricades, and Natural Terrain)
- Refinement of skills learned in the Basic Intro Course at a quicker pace under timed conditions.
- Spotting & Ranging targets at unknown distances.
- Long Range Shooting at distances from 100 to 1,100+ yards – Fine-tuning your capabilities, your weapon system, and supporting gear.
Course Requirements:
- Precision Rifle (Short Action Calibers are Highly Recommended)
- Chamber Flag (Required)
- Bipod (with ability to Cant)
- Optic with External Target Turrets with matching reticle (i.e., MIL/MIL or MOA/MOA)
- Bubble Level or Anti-Cant Device
- 200-250 rounds of Premium Ammunition (Factory or Handloads capable of producing 1” at 100 yards)
- Notebook and Writing Utensils / Data Book
- Range Appropriate Clothing - No Open Toe Footwear (Rain Gear needed as we shoot in all weather)
- Ballistic Software Computer (i.e., Applied Ballistics, Kestrel w/ Ballistics, Hornady 4DOF, GeoBallistics)
- Shooting Mat (optional but preferred)
- Rear Support Bag
- Front Support Bag (i.e., AG Gamechanger or equivalent)
- Food and Water for throughout the day
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray / Tick Repellant
- Observational Devices (Spotting Scope or Binoculars)
Water and other soft beverages will be supplied for FREE.
Pre-Requisites:
- Precision Rifle I (Introduction to Long Range)
- Completion of an Introductory Course through a different training company or instructor.
Participants should have a solid grasp of the fundamentals of marksmanship, firearm safety training, and safe weapon handling, along with efficient use of their optic. If you are new to the precision rifle platform, we highly recommend enrolling in our Precision Rifle I course before taking this advanced course. Exceptions may apply for those who have completed an introductory course elsewhere.

Pre-Requisites: Students must have completed an Intro Level Precision Rifle course with us or any recognized training company.
