Precision Rifle II

Precision Rifle II is the advance course that we offer.  Students will be pushed to their limits and learn what it takes to create a stable firing position, outside of being prone, gather wind data and putting their wind reading skills to the test.  The instructors will further critique students' performance and be expected to perform at a higher level while in a faster pace environment. Students will learn how to shoot off multiple barricades and other natural terrain features.

Course Curriculum:

• Firearm Safety 
• Fundamentals of Marksmanship Recap
• Rifle Zeroing
• Wind Formulas/Wind Numbers
• Refined Ballistic Truing
• Wind exercises / Reading Mirage and Vegetation Exercises
• Alternate firing positions / Positional Work (Tripods, Barricades and Natural Terrain). 
• Refining the skills learned throughout the Basic Intro Course, at a faster pace, under time constraints. 
• Spotting & Ranging targets at unknown distances.
• 100 – 1,100(+) Yards – Fine tuning yourself, your weapon system, and your gear.

Course Requirements:

• Precision Rifle (Short Action Calibers are Highly Recommended)
• Chamber Flag (Required)
• Bipod (with ability to Cant)
• Optic with External Target Turrets with matching reticle (i.e., MIL/MIL or MOA/MOA)
• Bubble Level or Anti-Cant device
• 200-250 rounds of Premium Ammunition (Factory or Handloads capable of producing 1” at 100 yards)
• Notebook and Writing Utensils / Data Book
• Range Appropriate Clothing - No Open Toe Footwear (Rain Gear as we shoot rain or shine)
• Ballistic Software Computer (i.e., Stelok, Applied Ballistics, Kestrel w/ Ballistics, Hornady 4DOF)
• Shooting Mat (optional but preferred)
• Rear Support Bag
• Front Support Bag (i.e., AG Gamechanger or equivalent)
• Food and Water for throughout the day
• Sunscreen 
• Bug Spray / Tick Repellant
• Observational Devices (Spotting Scope or Binoculars)

Water and other soft beverages will be supplied for FREE.

Pre-Requisites:

• Precision Rifle I (Introduction to Long Range)
• Introductory Course completed through a difference training company or instructor.

Students should have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of marksmanship, firearm safety, safe weapon handling and how to efficiently use their optic.  If you are new to the precision rifle platform, we strongly suggest taking our Precision Rifle I course prior to enrolling in this course.  Exception is if you have taken an introductory course with a different instructor/training company, you may enroll in this course.

$500.00 per person (Includes all Range Fees)

Non-Refundable - Please be sure you can attend the course prior to enrolling. Exceptions apply for extenuating circumstances.

Pre-Requisites:  Students will be required to have attended an Intro Level Precision Rifle course from either us, or any other training company.
