The Basic Pistol 101 course in an intro level course that is tailored to anyone looking to learn the basics or improve on the fundamentals of handgun shooting.  This course will give our students a general understanding of firearm safety along with how to effectively and efficiently use your sidearm. Perfect for new or first-time firearm owners! Students will have adequate one-on-one time with our instructors to make sure every student is on the same page prior to advancing.  At Cold Bore Institutions, NO student gets left behind!

• Firearm Safety Brief
• Functions of a Firearm 
• Firearm Manipulation (Loading and Unloading/Clearing your weapon)
• Fundamentals of Marksmanship
• Accuracy Drills
• Reloading Drills

• Handgun (any caliber)
• 500 Rounds of Ammunition
• Cleaning Kit
• Holster
• Magazine Holder (optional but recommended)
• Eye Protection

$250.00 Per Student + Range Membership (additional) may vary depending on location.

Firearm Rentals

We offer handgun and equipment rentals to students that wish to participate in training prior to making an investment in their own firearm. 

Firearm Rental Pricing

Handgun: $25 plus applicable tax per class (ammunition NOT provided)

Equipment: Holster, Magazine carrier - FREE with rental of any firearm

Disclaimer

Must be 21 years of age or older to participate in this course. Persons must possess a valid State Government issued ID and be in good standing with the Law.  Students must be able to legally possess firearms to be enrolled and accepted into this course.  Persons younger then 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 21 years of age or older. All students will be required to sign a release of liability form prior to being involved in any live fire training. Thank you for understanding.
