Competition Readiness

The Competition Readiness course is specifically designed for precision rifle shooters eager to familiarize themselves with the competition shooting scene before committing to register for a match. Students can expect to learn the essential aspects of firearm safety and the preparations needed to get ready for their first competition match.

Course Duration: One (1 Day) Course

Course Curriculum

- Firearm Safety 

- Positional Fundamentals of Marksmanship 

- Rifle Zeroing 

- Gear Selection 

- Gear Management & Time Management 

- Collecting DOPE (300 - 1,100 yards) 

- Mock Stages and Shooting off Multiple Props & Barricades 

- Debrief 

Equipment Requirements

- Precision Rifle (Short Action Calibers Only) 

- Chamber Flag (Required) 

- Bipod (with ability to Cant) 

- Optic with External Turret Adjustments/Reticle Matching Turrets (i.e., MIL/MIL or MOA/MOA) 

- Bubble Level or Anti-Cant device 

- 150 rounds of Premium Ammunition (Factory or Handloads capable of producing 1” at 100 yards) 

- Range Appropriate Clothing - No open toe footwear (We will shoot rain or shine) 

- Ballistic Software Computer (i.e., Stelok Pro, Applied Ballistics, Kestrel, Hornady 4DOF) 

- Front Support Bags (Rec. AG Shmedium Gamechanger with Heavy Fill - we will have some for sale at the course) 

- Observational Devices (Binoculars or Spotting Scope recommended) 

- Lunch and Snacks to eat throughout the day.

- Sunscreen 

- Bug Spray / Tick Repellant 

Water and other soft beverages will be provided for FREE.

$300.00 per person (Includes all Range Fees)
